Noting that Hong Kong wine lovers are not able to travel freely, Riesling Weeks is bringing the first ever German wine experience pop-up store VINOTHEK BERLIN to Fashion Walk. Decorated with cool Berlin Wall street art, the shop features a wide selection of German wine, German delicacies and lifestyle products. Come experience wine, art and fashion in the heart of Causeway Bay between 18th and 27th June! An annual, month-long celebration of German wine in June, Riesling Weeks Hong Kong is supported by leading hotels and restaurants. This year, over 60 restaurants, wine retailers and online wine clubs in Hong Kong will be running various German wine promotions. Some of the highlights include White Asparagus x German wine menus at Brasserie on the Eighth, Golden Leaf and Mirage Bar & Restaurant. Dynasty and Bâtard will also serve inspiring menus to go with German wine. Scroll down for the full Riesling Weeks’ participants and their offers. And this year we have a few new partners: Little Bao, a Chinese bao (burger) joint run by Chef May Chow that serves quality comfort food on Fashion Walk. Wash down their yummy baos with a glass or two of German wine. Red Lobster, also on Fashion Walk, is a cosy North American seafood restaurant that has created the fusion Pineapple bun with fresh lobster to pair with a refreshing, fruity Riesling. Bottle Wander is a new bottle shop with super friendly, knowledgeable staff just opposite PMQ. They will be conducting Q&A and German tasting during the month of June. Winerack, with retail outlets at Sai Ying Pun, Wanchai, Tsim Sha Tsui and Sai Kung, will highlight one Weingut Frey Riesling under ‘Riesling of the Week’ every week in June. In its ninth running, we are excited to unveil a more lively and modern logo and website. Check it out.
